February Meeting Valentine Exchange & Needlework Book Cover

Program: We will have our Valentine Exchange and have fun creating a needlework book cover as demonstrated in January’s Catherine Jordan presentation.
Marilyn and Mary Ann have prepared a kit to make the “Needlework Book Cover” as presented by Catherine Jordan via Zoom at the January Meeting. In the kit is a little 2 x 2” paper book, 32 count linen (from Carol’s stash) along with the pattern and directions for stitching the four-sided stitch to bind the edges. Please bring a tapestry needle and we strongly recommend a magnifier. We will be stitching neutral colored tread on a neutral-colored linen so along with good light, the magnifier will help. Once you catch on to the four-sided stitch, the project is fast and easy.
